Dignity first
Every person who drops a pin deserves to be seen with dignity. We design every feature around protecting the humanity of the person asking for help.
Our story
Love Thy Neighbor started with a simple, painful observation: people in cities are surrounded by neighbors — and completely alone. We decided to do something about it.
How it started
In 2022, our founder watched a neighbor struggle through a health crisis alone — just three doors down. No one knew. No one showed up. Not because they didn't care, but because they didn't know.
That moment became a question: what if there was a way for people to ask for help — quietly, safely, without pride getting in the way — and for neighbors and churches to actually see it?
Love Thy Neighbor was born from that question. We built a simple map. We added a pin. And we watched what happened when people could finally see each other's needs.
Our mission
A world where no one suffers alone because their neighbors couldn't see them.
What guides us
01
Every person who drops a pin deserves to be seen with dignity. We design every feature around protecting the humanity of the person asking for help.
02
The best help comes from the closest neighbor. We believe geography is a gift — and that the church down the street is the most powerful social safety net in any city.
03
People should be able to ask for help without fear. We build privacy into every layer of the product — so vulnerability feels safe.
04
Good intentions aren't enough. We track outcomes, celebrate answered prayers, and hold ourselves accountable to real change in real neighborhoods.
